Privacy Policy

FlyOverMe ("the app," "we," "us") helps you see and track the aircraft flying over you. This policy explains what information the app uses, why, and what happens to it. The short version: we collect the minimum needed to run the app, we don't sell your information, and we don't use advertising or third-party analytics.
Information we collect
Location. With your permission, the app uses your device's location to find flights near you. Your coordinates are sent to our servers only to answer that request ("what's overhead right now?") and to fetch nearby airport information. We do not keep a history of your movements, and your location is never sold or shared for advertising.
Account information. Creating an account is optional for basic features. If you sign up, we collect your email address and a password, managed by Google Firebase Authentication. We use your account only to sign you in, sync your preferences, and unlock features. Passwords are never visible to us.
Subscription status. If you purchase a subscription, the payment is processed entirely by Apple through your App Store account. We never see your payment card or billing details. We use RevenueCat, a subscription-management service, to know whether your subscription is active; it receives an anonymous app-user identifier and your purchase status from Apple.
Flights you track. Flights you choose to track, your saved settings, and your notification preferences are stored on your device.
Notifications. If you enable alerts, the app schedules notifications on your device about flights you're tracking or flights overhead. You can turn these off at any time in Settings or in iOS Settings.
What we don't collect
We do not collect contacts, photos, messages, browsing history, or advertising identifiers. We do not use ad networks, and we do not use third-party analytics or tracking SDKs. We do not sell or rent any personal information to anyone.
Flight data
The flight information shown in the app (aircraft positions, schedules, gates, routes) comes from aviation data providers, including FlightAware, Flightradar24, and AviationStack. Requests to these providers are made by our servers and include only the flight or area being looked up — never your identity.
Service providers
We rely on a small number of service providers to operate the app: Google Firebase (authentication), Supabase (our database and backend hosting), RevenueCat (subscription status), and Apple (payments and app distribution). Each receives only the information needed to perform its function.
Data retention and deletion
Account information is retained until you delete your account. You can permanently delete your account and its data at any time in the app under Settings → Sign In → Profile → Delete Account, and you can remove locally stored data with Settings → Clear All Data. You may also request deletion by contacting us at the email below; we complete emailed requests within 30 days.
Children
FlyOverMe is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update this page and the effective date above. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the FlyOverMe mobile application ("the app"), operated by Wiseways ("we," "us"). By creating an account, subscribing, or using the app, you agree to these Terms.
1. What FlyOverMe is
FlyOverMe identifies and tracks aircraft using live aviation data from third-party providers. It is an informational and entertainment product.
Flight information is advisory only. Positions, schedules, gates, delay estimates, and AI-generated predictions may be incomplete, delayed, or wrong. Never rely on the app for travel-critical, operational, or safety decisions — always confirm with your airline or airport.
2. Your account
You may use core features without an account. Some features require one. You are responsible for your credentials and for activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Delete Account).
3. Subscriptions
Premium features are offered by auto-renewing monthly subscription purchased through your Apple ID. Where offered, a free trial converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage or cancel any time in your Apple ID settings. Payment is processed by Apple — we never see your payment details. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable; refund requests go through Apple.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to: abuse, probe, or overload the app or its backend; attempt to access data or systems you aren't authorized to use; scrape or resell data from the app; reverse engineer the app except where the law permits; or use the app in violation of any law.
5. Intellectual property
The app, its design, and its content (excluding third-party flight data) are owned by Wiseways and protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on your Apple devices per the App Store terms.
6. Third-party data and services
Flight data comes from providers including FlightAware, Flightradar24, and AviationStack; authentication, hosting, and subscription management are provided by Google Firebase, Supabase, RevenueCat, and Apple. We are not responsible for outages or errors in third-party services.
7. Disclaimers
The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Wiseways shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for missed flights, travel disruptions, or decisions made in reliance on app information. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or abuse of the service. You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected by the effective date above. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
